Frequently asked questions

How do I add clothing to my wardrobe?

Three ways: search our catalog by brand and model, take a photo and let AI recognize the item, or enter the details manually. All three are available from the Add Item screen.

Why does photo recognition need an internet connection?

Recognition is powered by cloud-based AI. Your photo is sent securely to our AI provider for identification only — the image is not stored or used to train any model.

What's included in Modexa Pro?

Modexa Pro unlocks unlimited AI outfit generation, unlimited catalog search, and unlimited photo recognition. Available as a monthly or yearly subscription from inside the app.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Open your device's Settings app, tap your name at the top, then Subscriptions → Modexa Pro → Cancel Subscription. Your access continues through the end of the current billing period.

How do I restore a previous purchase?

Open Modexa, go to Profile, and tap Restore Purchases. Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID used for the original purchase.

I can't sign in to my account. What do I do?

Modexa uses email and password to sign in. Double-check that your email is spelled correctly and your password is right (passwords are case-sensitive). If you're still locked out, email us and we'll help you regain access.

Will Modexa be available on Android?

An Android version is on our roadmap. Email us to be notified when it's ready.

What data does Modexa collect?

We collect the minimum needed to make the app work: your email and user ID, the clothing items you add, and anonymized product interaction for improving the app. Full details in our privacy policy.
